New Outdoor Art Mural Underway at TUS

Each year, artists are invited to apply to participate in the year-round Rotating Art Exhibit within TUS.  There are many artists that are considered yet only a few are selected to showcase their work for a 6-month time frame due to space limitations. One such artist was Victor Navarro who shared his amazing artworks with all travelling through the airport.

When it came time to address a blank and bland wall on the exterior of the Rent-a-Car Facility, Victor Navarro's colorful Arizona-themed artwork came to mind. Now, work is underway to create  a mural that captures the vibrancy of Southern Arizona. The mural titled, “Tucson Reverie: A Vivid Tribute” will showcase a handful of historic Tucson landmarks. Navarro says, “This mural doesn’t just depict Tucson, it reimagines it, inviting the viewer to step into a living breathing vision of the city’s soul.”
