Call 9-1-1 to report emergencies at TUS
The Tucson Airport Authority (TAA) is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all users of Tucson International Airport (TUS) and Ryan Airfield (RYN) through an organized response to emergency situations and proactive education and prevention activities.
The Public Safety effort provides a broad range of programs to protect the airport community from the adverse effects of crime, fire, sudden medical emergency or exposure to dangerous conditions.
Personnel in TAA’s Airport Police and Fire departments undergo constant training to maintain the highest level of service to airport tenants, visitors and passengers.
TUS is located in Pima County on property owned by the City of Tucson and operated by the TAA under a long-term lease. The airport’s Police and Fire departments are fully accredited agencies operated by the TAA. They work closely with other city and county jurisdictions including the City of Tucson Police Department, Pima County Sheriff’s Department, Arizona Department of Public Safety and the Arizona Air National Guard.
