Lisa Lovallo Elected Tucson Airport Authority Board Chair

Judy Rich, Keri Silvyn Join as New Directors
Lisa Lovallo was elected Chair of the Tucson Airport Authority Board of Directors for 2018 at its meeting today.
Lovallo is Vice President and Market Manager of Cox Southern Arizona, a position she has held since 2008. She has been a TAA member since 2011 and joined the Board in 2014 and served as Vice Chair last year.
Other TAA Board officers elected for 2018 are Vice Chair Taunya Villicana, Co-founder and CEO of Affinity Wealth Management; Secretary Bruce L. Dusenberry, President of Horizon Moving Systems, Inc.; Treasurer Katherine R. Ward, Principal of GV Strategic Advisors.
Two members joined the Board as Directors; Judy Rich, President and CEO of TMC HealthCare and Tucson Medical Center, and Keri Silvyn, Partner in Lazarus, Silvyn and Bangs, P.C.
Michael F. Hannley, President and CEO of the Bank of Tucson, ended his term on the Board.
Continuing Board Directors are William R. Assenmacher, President of CAID Industries, Inc., and Rob Draper, Dealer Principal and General Manager of O’Rielly Motor Company and O’Rielly Chevrolet, Inc.
Last year’s Chair, Tony Finley will continue to serve on the Board as an ex-officio member along with Bonnie Allin, President and CEO of the TAA.

We are also thankful for Mike Hannley’s service and commitment to TAA,” shared TAA president and CEO Bonnie Allin. “We congratulate Lisa Lovallo on her new role as Chair, thank her for continuing to serve our region, and are confident she will build on the successes of the past 70 years as she leads during a time of great opportunity for our community and the Tucson International Airport and Ryan Airfield.”
In addition to her responsibilities at Cox, Lovallo joined the Board of Directors of UNS Energy Corporation last November and serves on nearly a dozen community organizations including Sun Corridor Inc., the Southern Arizona Leadership Council, the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, the University of Arizona College of Science, and the Board Quality Care Committee for Tucson Medical Center.
Lovallo is a native Tucsonan and graduate of the University of Arizona. Prior to joining Cox, Lovallo founded North American Enterprises, a successful import and export business, which she ran for 14 years before selling it.
The TAA Board of Directors is made up of seven to 11 members elected from among the active membership of the Tucson Airport Authority. Members of the TAA are made up of 65 women and men who reside within the service areas of the TAA’s two airports, Tucson International Airport (TUS) and Ryan Airfield (RYN). They are selected through a nomination process. Members receive no compensation for their service
The TAA is an independent nonprofit quasi-government entity established by state charter in 1948. Under long-term leases with the City of Tucson, the TAA operates and manages TUS and RYN. The operations of both airports are funded through revenues generated by the users and tenants. The TAA does not receive any local tax dollars.
In 2018, the TAA is celebrating 70 years of service in Southern Arizona.
